'''Dechtire, the faerie of Water''', was one of four elemental [[fairies]] within the realm of [[Demeter]]. During a ritual in Demeter's name, this flowing, singing fairie gave all her strength until she first glowed as a blue sphere encompassed her and then diminished, her energies channeling through an altar. When combined with the energies of the other three elemental fairies, a fiery poral opened above the altar and [[Melantha]], Goddess of the Seasons, stepped forth.
