Three strong girders of sheer crystal build the foundation for this magnificent icon, shining in bright emerald, cinnober and tithian hues as the light reflects from a plethora of intricate surfaces. Thin, metallic strings run around each shard, connecting and securing the stand of this extraordinary device, and the perfectly-rounded feet of silvery metal add to this wondrous sight. The girders support a wide obsidian basin, mounted upon the shards with formidable craftsmanship and decorated with inlays of gold and platinum. Within the basin rests a globe of translucent white crystal, humming and crackling with a mysterious energy, while an opulent black lotus flower rests enclosed within the orb. | |||
