Located on the western edge of [[Ashtan]], '''Lake Balaton''' is the termination of the [[Accra River]] as it flows from the north.  Nestled between the acropoli of the [[Cyclade]] and the rest of Ashtan proper, the sheer cliffs fence in the lake on the north, west, and southern boundaries with a sandy beach to east. Residents often come to the lake for recreation, dotting the surface of the lake with their fishing boats.
