The '''Eschaton''' was the end result of [[Ezekial|Ezekial's]] attempt at [[Dion de Vermiis]]' [[Eschaton Experiment]]. Gathering together the Ashtan and Theran cabals, Ezekial led the group in a large occult working, binding their karma together to facilitate its gather and usage. Unfortunately something went wrong and both Ezekial and the experiment were lost.

Eventually the modern day [[The Occultists|Occultists]] enacted a ritual, retrieving both from the time stream, and finished the experiment, tying their karma to that of their forebears and creating a Chaos Lord in the shape of a book that could absorb and distil karma upon those tied to it. Due to its intimate knowledge of karma and its uses, the book acts as a [[tutor]], imparting knowledge of the Occult.
