'''Lake Muurn''' is a rocky lake that borders the southern edge of [[Cyrene]] and forms the border of the valley in the [[Vashnars|Vashar Mountains]]. It is connected to the [[Muurn River Valley]] by way of a series of violently surging caverns inhabited by the monstrosity [[Khulhedra]]. At the southern end of the lake sits an island with a lighthouse, the basement of which is inhabited by dumpy, bulbous [[scrags]]. Although now returned to its watery grave, visitors to the area recently met the acquaintance of the ghostly [[Bairn Muurn]], the Crimson Numen.
