The '''Cave Landmark''' was one of the original [[landmarks]] that became volatile when the comet [[Ethian]] travelled close to [[Sapience]] in it's yearly cycle through the heavens. During the month of [[Sarapin]], the cave's alignment could be influenced to provide either [[Essence]] or [[Devotion]] to those with the ability to manipulate such energies.  When under the influence of Devotion users, the cave took on the aspect of the Crystal Cavern, when Essence users held sway it became the Cave of Golgotha.  The cave's unique resonance left it influenced by either the spiritual uplifting of orphans enrolled within the [[Basilican choir]], or the split second of pain suffered by those orphans enrolled within [[Ashtan's Orphanage]].
