Though he has lived in his Stagira Boulevard home in Ashtan for countless years, he did spend part of his youth in [[Shala-Khulia]] where he learned the ways of the jungle from [[Ixtahuitl]], Shaman of the Khish.

Owing to his reputation as a man of wisdom on many subjects, Epicurus has been involved in a myriad of events throughout history. He has taken place in such cases as the [[Jade Icon Saga]], the destruction of the [[Iron Citadel]], and the [[Taint]] and its subsequent banishing. [[Damaris]] blames him for the destruction of her personal home in [[Hashan]].
