Shar'ilian lightspire

The antiquated Shar'ilian lightspire is the rarer, more powerful version of the Staff of Illusion and hails from the legendary Floating Temples of Shar'ilian, like the Shar'ilian whisperstone. Its olivine shaft shines with ornate inscriptions, chromatic fragments whirling with the restrained latency of its illusionary power. Like its lesser cousin, the staff enables its bearer to conjure illusions from out of thin air, but also direct them towards other adventurers and imbue them with colour.

The true power of the Shar'ilian lightspire draws upon its charges of light power. A suitably charged lightspire can cast illusions area-wide and, in concert with two other staff-wielders, continent-wide. Finally, the tendrils of its lambent magnificence can form fantastical illusions with realistic physicality, called glamours.
