Oyon Nekhiig's face is as open and welcoming as any well-loved publican's. His winning smile and sparkling eyes are capable of charming the coldest heart, while his face and mannerisms ooze trustworthiness. He is bedecked in a vivid woollen jacket, bright colours zig-zagging across it without any pattern or logic. He sells various homemade products peculiar to nomadic tribe of the Chaghut encampment.

Oyon's Wares

A crudely carved wooden stallion - 900gp
This small wooden figure is carved crudely but enthusiastically from soft wood into the form of a rearing stallion. Despite the simple workmanship and the absence of any painted colour, the image is powerful and vigorous, suggesting movement and action. The rendering of the strong muscles of the stallion's haunches and its flowing mane suggest that what the carver lacks in skill is compensated for by his deep adoration of the subject of the piece.
Milk (jug of mare's milk) - 50gp
This plain ceramic jug is a uniform brown flecked with traces of mica. Designed for functionality rather than beauty, it has an ugly squat handle on its side. Mare's milk sloshes around the inside of the jug, giving off a pungent, bestial odour like a horse's stable. A thin, yellowish crust has formed on the surface of the milk, slimy and viscous to the touch.
A pair of fur-trimmed boots - 700 gp
Made from sturdy leather, these boots are comfortable and hard-wearing. Crafted using traditional Chaghut methods, the leather is boiled repeatedly to make a tremendously durable material that nonetheless retains a certain supple softness, allowing the people of the Daoric Plains to endure long nomadic treks in relative comfort. The sole concession to ornamentation is the fur trim circling the top of the boots, providing much-needed insulation from the cold plains nights.
An intricately woven plains rug - 1500gp
This beautiful item, bright and well-crafted, would grace any home. The plains rug is woven from a dizzying array of hues, the interlocking patterns of vivid primary colours in the centre of the design forming a whirling chromatic spiral. Embroidered flowers frame the edges of the rug, large purple coneflowers alternating with smaller milkweed blossoms. At both ends, white strands of string are attached as tassles and the underside of the rug is a hard-wearing hessian weave, which feels durable and rough to the touch.
