Marwan, the Food Seller of El'Jazira, is an elderly gentleman who once set up shop next to the kawhe seller, Habbib. He still lives in the ruins of the desert village hawking his wares to passerby.

Made of skewered and grilled choice cuts of beef, this is char broiled to perfection.

Savoury dolmeh - 25gp

This savoury dolmeh -- cooked grape leaves stuffed with ground beef, rice, peas, and herbs and spices -- looks cooked perfectly, and perfectly delicious.

Some torshi - 20gp

This torshi -- mixed and aged pickles, carrots, cauliflower, eggplant, and herbs in a grape vinegar -- smells rather bad. Perhaps it is an acquired taste.

Shawarma sandwich - 75gp

This delicious looking sandwich consists of greasy sliced meats covered in a selection of vegetables and onion and loaded with sauce. The whole is wrapped in a thin pita and a cloth to keep it tidy.
