Ketea

Ketea are fantastical, fish-like creatures of the briny deeps with olive-hued scales larger than warhorses. With monstrous, slab-like teeth they gnash at the ocean around them, churning it into eddies and whirlpools to entrap ships which venture near them. Their length typically rises and dips into the water at various points, creating huge hills of olive in the foam-flecked torrents. A ketea's tail ends in a dripping barb, oozing caustic venom from the sharp point. Its head rivals a windcutter in size, filled to the brim with countless fangs.
