Armoured beast

Armoured beasts appeared with in the Mesmerium in the year 457 A.F., shortly after Valnurana released Lord Noxuron, the Dreamscourge, from his cell within Her realm. With traits of several fierce creatures, the bodies of these creatures are rough and leathery, standing nearly ten feet tall with elephantine legs and feet. Their heads bear majestic manes and their trunks have been replaced with a bloodstained lion's muzzle. Heavy plates of steel armour are fastened to their backs and sides to offer protection from physical attacks while their heads are equipped with open-faced helms. Although the rear of the beast lacks armour, a serpentine tail ending in a sharp barb lashes restlessly back and forth to guard from danger.
