Step lightly, be mindful, take care.

Live wisely, act rightly, be fair,

And our Lady, our guide, will always be there.

The Prelatorian Highway is littererd with packs,

the remnants of theives' unwarranted attacks.

It makes little sense to take what's not yours,

what's available so cheaply in so many stores.

And yet many Achaeans choose the dishonest path

unworried about earning the gods' divine wrath.

Step lightly, be mindful, take care.

Wear compassion as a cloak; breathe acceptance in the air,

And our Lady, our guide, will always be there.

Some denizens are wary because they've been harmed,

And may come at you fiercely in fear and alarm.

Try to understand that you need not fight

For they are only trying to protect themselves from superior might.

Greet all whom you meet with respect and a smile;

but be not offended if the same isn't their style.

Step lightly, be mindful, take care.

Speak kindness in words; trust if you dare,

And our Lady, our guide, will always be there.

There are some, you will find,

of an unpleasant kind.

Nature they ravage,

the innocent they savage.

Around them, you see the corpses accrue.

For the pleasure of cruelty, they do as they do.

Step lightly, be mindful, take care.

Expose villains when you find them; send them back to Maya's lair!

And our Lady, our guide, will always be there.

But there are some Achaeans whom you will meet

who ne'er lie, murder, steal nor cheat.

They will answer your questions, might buy you a drink

and in the chain of relations forge a more solid link,

between you and I, between us and them,

for the flowering of us all from Creation's stem.

They step lightly, they are mindful, they take care.

They honour the Good, they teach us something rare,

So that our Lady, Lady Tarah, will ever persevere.
