Maklak, the ice wizard once residing in his tower of ice, Maklak was always trying to devise new ways to cover the world in the ice he so loves. He currently stands as a ice statue within the halls of Elemental Plane of Water. With the help of his apprentices, he had created golems and shards of ice to help protect his tower. He considers himself a most powerful wizard and was a member of the mysterious Conclave, alongside the wizard Hycanthus, Haag the Swamp Witch, O'ising, Yriluawe shaman, and Yudhishthira, the red dragon of Polyargos.

In a fury the ice wizard slew the elemental guardians and destroyed the Elemental Embassy but the ambassador's were not affected. Granting him is request, Asahana forced the ice wizard into an rift in to the Elemental Plane of Water
