Khalas, the Wanderer is an Elder God who plotted to overthrow the reign of Proteus along with Lorielan and Agatheis. When this Triumvirate failed, He was sentenced to be transformed into an unmoving statue, stood in the village of Tomacula as a reminder to all of the folly of crossing the Creator.

During his rampage in 922AF, the Demon Pazuzu collected all of the Protean Relics and used his newfound power to free Khalas from his prison.
