Blindness is an affliction of the eyes resulting in the inability to see. Because being blind also confers resistance to transfixing and many harmful runes, it can also be counted as a defence.
Blindness is cured by application of an epidermal salve or the oculus venom, and can be caused by consumption of bayberry or administration of either the oleander or the colocasia venoms.
The mindseye tattoo will allow one to see while blind, but is not a cure for blindness.
