Azzul

General Azzul was a Shallamese military leader in the distant past. He guarded the city of Shallam and its people during the darkest days of the unknown conflict referred to only as the "plains wars."

Azzul Square in Shallam was named in the general's honour. A gilt bronze statue bearing his likeness stood at the centre of the square for many years before that city-state's fall.
