Wrath of the Forests

I am the forest, heed my words:
Placid am I, and seldom heard.
I welcome all to walk my halls,
And sit within these verdant walls.
A place of rest or merriment,
Enjoy the freedom, be content.
But take care, do not disappoint,
My kindness has a breaking point.

The necromancer's evil touch
May scorch and burn but fate is just,
And magic, elemental fire
But fuels my fury, feeds my ire.
With wyvern's breath you seek a blaze?
Dare not incense my bitter rage.
And selfish forestal, be wary
Lest I find your greed contrary.

Those marked and branded enemies
Had best not step beneath my trees.
With wolf and vine, deadly offense,
I fell my foes with no pretense.
And as the criminal expires
All returns, as naught transpired
I am the forest, heed my words:
Placid am I, and seldom heard.
