It was popularised by "The Fall of Shallam," a popular protest song detailing Seleucar's conquering of the Jewel of the East.

With the coming of the Third Black Wave in 798 AF and after Hashan and Targossas allied with the Tsol'teth, the Coalition of Sapience renamed the clan the White Wave.
