The Well of Chaos is the city-relic bestowed upon Ashtan following the War of the Divine Child. The well was created by Valnurana, Goddess of Dreams, and Eris, Goddess of Chaos. When creatures of other city relics are used to fill the well it summons the Zarathustran eagle to defend the city. In centuries past, the Well of Chaos brought forth the Guardian of Chaos, but during the period of Eternal Night, the eagle became the guardian of the city.
