A vial (or a phial) is a small container, usually for storing elixirs, salves and venoms, often with a stopper or some way in which it may be closed. A new empty vial normally costs 300gp (gold sovereigns) and lasts up to 150 months. It is not to be confused with an artefact vial which will not decay.

Previously, normal vial would host 60 sips if refilled by a Transcendence concoctionist (or trans-refiller) or 50 sips by a non-Transcendence (non-trans refiller). As of 7th of Miraman year 454, vials now hold a lot more. A non-artefact vial can be filled (or refilled) up to 200 sips while an artefact vial should hold 240 sips. The capacity of vials for milking venoms is also increased to 150 sips for non-artefact vials and 220 for artefact vials.

In summary, a non-trans refiller can fill a non-artefact vial in 5 fills while a trans-refiller can fill the same vial in 4 fills. A non-trans refiller can fill an artefact vial in 3 fills while a trans-refiller can fill the same vial in 2 fills. It is to be noted that artefact vials can't POUR INTO non-artefact vials, as well as non-artefact vials can't POUR INTO artefact vials.

New commands or syntax have been introduced in tandem with these changes:

  POUR|EMPTY whatever ON something
  POUR|EMPTY whatever OUT
  POUR|EMPTY vial IN|INTO othervial
