The Ursu are a sentient, bear-like race that live in the cliffs of Quartz Peak. They are constantly at odds with the Taryen in the caverns below. In contrast to the passive and compassionate Ursu women, male Ursu can usually be seen, spear in hand, lumbering from room to room, looking about constantly and sniffing the air to detect any enemies that might threaten them.
