Triumvirate (government)

This article is about the form of government. For other uses, please see Triumvirate (disambiguation).

In the triumvirate form of House government, three members hold leadership over an organisation, but of the three, one is appointed to a more powerful Ascendant position. All three Triumvirs may hold their offices for a single consecutive term, or a term of fixed or indefinite length, depending on House policy. New Triumvirs are appointed by individual contestion and subsequent election.
