I received a message from a housemate that the Garden of the Arts in Cyrene describes Polyhymnia as the Muse of the Sacred Arts, but this reference lists her as the muse of music. I visisted Polyhymnia in Ulangi where she was singing a haunting melody. Her probed description is: While the outer edges of Polyhymnia's body are of the transparent shade of the spirit, the rest of her is a swirl of vivid colours. Her garb is a gown of large blossoms and broad leaves, possessing vibrant hues of emerald, azure, and magenta. Her hair is dark and fluttering in some unseen wind, but her almond-shaped eyes are a lighter colour, that of placid lavender. The exotic scent that wafts from her that of wildflowers and fragrant grasses makes it clear that she is the forest spirit of Ulangi's forests. Madelyne 18:12, 8 October 2007 (GMT)
