Spiral ribbons of future creation

It is not known what exactly spiral ribbons of future creation are. Matic Ridley, who spoke of them in his account, does not state their physical nature or even appearance. The Tsol'teth extracted these "spiral ribbons of future creation" from the dead bodies of hobgoblins and other living beings, and altered them in order to create stronger, tougher creatures.
