Opalescent lady of the mist,
You stand in peace, fore'er with your soulmate.
But why so still? What do you contemplate?
Heroine of Gods, do you resist
The urge to take up arms and fight amidst
The others of your kind in battles great?
It's hard to see why now, you stand sedate
And still, contented simply to exist.

Then I look into your ancient eyes,
And sense the weight of years, the warrior's gaze.
I see one epic War, your glory days
Our battles are not yours, I realize.
Great numbers of your kind now soar in space,
But none like you, the white star of your race.
