Sanctuary Bridge

The Sanctuary Bridge spanned the Accra River, connecting the Cyclade hill to the rest of Ashtan. The Church built the brick Sanctuary Bridge years ago to allow access to their fortress, the Minorus Basilica, on the eastern bank. After the Church mission fled the city, the Kharon monks crossed the bridge to claim the empty fortress. For years a life-like statue of an Ashuran monk stood on the bridge which led to the Ashuran Monastery, periodically performing slow-motion katas on its stone pedestal.

The Sanctuary Bridge was a casualty in the war against Golgotha, a period which prompted the Ashtan House Renaissance.
