A properly positioned scabbard is integral in drawing one's sword with ease, grace, and power. Neglect your scabbard at your peril, for the First Art is useless without it.

All TwoArts abilities require a sheathed named-blade in order to function. To sheathe a blade so quickly requires a properly prepared scabbard - you must reposition your scabbard every time it is removed from you in order for any TwoArts abilities to function.

For those without a scabbard, Kavaya is known to carry a supply with her, which she offers for sale to any budding Blademaster.
