A patron, sometimes known more formally as a divine patron, is the god watching over a person or organisation. In the case of an organisation, the patron is responsible for providing guidance, overseeing the organisation's affairs, and providing representation within the Garden; this patron's name can be viewed on the organisation's respective help file, usually HELP <organisation>. In the case of an individual mortal, a patron is the deity of the divine order they have joined.
