The star of Shadows, Noxtra, is the herald of darkness within the triumvirate that comprises night. The planet represented Twilight within the Supernal Triad before it collapsed on itself with the three other planets on  Phaestian 13, 427 AF during the Eternal Night.
Noxtra was the planet within the Supernal Triad that represented shadows and darkness. While dominant, it once heralded Twilight's influence over the Triad. The planet was sooty black, pockmarked with craters and gullies that ran like rivers across its surface, and it may have been cloaked in a thick layer of smoke and shadow. It was known to alchemists as the "planet of salt."
