They preached to me, "Morality!"

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

I only wanted greater strength,

The priests took me aside.

They informed me of my Evil,

They said that I had died.

The very mention of that word

Set loose a fire in me

I now am glad I turned my back

Upon the Gold City.

For greater strength was now my drive

My calling, my resolve

I cast aside my spiritual mace

My inner Light dissolved

The once-bright light was now replaced

It guttered and it died

And then a darkness filled the space

And Evil was its guide

The darkness sang a song to me

The song of lust for might

The Evil festered restlessly

And showed me what was right

As one in slumber shuffles round

I took to the highway

My feet were treading on the ground

My mind was far away

In fields of glory, all for me

Did my dreams now reside

In thoughts of revelling with glee

As my enemies died

And as I pondered my new strength

I thought, with a slight smile

Of weaker foes, suff'ring at length

And of my might, reviled

The ones who told me I was dead

Could not have been more right

The weak, daft Kaiyul was no more

I'd had enough of Light!

The path was long and it was far

To where my darkness longed

And guided by my soul's dark scar

I found where I belonged.

Foreboding, twisted Mhaldor Isle

Rising from out the sea

And the unfettered Evil there

Called undeniably.

The Congregation of the Blood

I was a priest once more

Now here I stand, to fuel the flood

Of Evil from Mhaldor!
