Built in the year 433 AF after the sacrifice of numerous Mhaldorians, the Mhaldorian Cathedral, also known as the Black Basilica, stands as the antithesis to the Chrysalis Basilica in Shallam.

It is a large three-storeyed structure, topped by a bell tower. Other locations of interest include the scriptorium, where the city's public library resides, a large bloodmetal pulpit suspended from chains, and the chambers of the daemonic choir. The grounds outside the cathedral also sport a small cemetery.
