Ever the faithful servant, Lampe spends all his time in Ashtan's Philospher's Plaza where he guards his master, Ikant. Lampe conducts all business on behalf of the silent intellectual but rarely feels the need to intervene against those who would interrupt the philosopher since the man rarely acknowledges any outside stimulus anyway.
