The kola nut is an herb that, when eaten, gives an instant feeling of excitement and edginess, allowing one to waken from sleep immediately. When ground, percolated, and mixed with sugar or anise, it creates the highly caffeinated drink called kawhe.
The now-discontinued Wand of Zeal artefact could confer the same easily awakened defence as the kola nut.
