Jahalen, Master of Sparrow's Rest, is an elderly human, though one would be foolhardly to presume weakness of body or infirmity of the mind. Within Jahalen dwells an indomitable will which is undeniably expressed in his steely grey eyes. Bald and adorned in simple brown robes, Jahalen is not much to look at, nor is his personality particularly kind. Visitors to Sparrow's Rest will quickly find themselves shoo'ed away or, on rare occassion, sent on an errand by Jahalen.
