Despite its location in the far north of Sapience, the Istar Jungle is warm and humid, heated by the nearby Vents of Hthrak. Its more notable plantlife includes ancient crownwood trees, fire ferns, and serpentweed. Exotic creatures roam its depths, from monstrous gamling spiders to feline kamatlan to sinuous boalisks. High within the jungle canopy can be found the Tsol'dasi city of Istarion.
