Where a skill like Venom is a naturally developed ability, and a skill like Subterfuge is an ability with many magical elements, Hypnosis is a science. It has long been known that our subconscious mind is a powerful force and that it can be influenced in mysterious ways, but until a forgotten Serpentlord discovered the principles of Hypnosis, there was no way to use it.
With this skill, a practitioner of Hypnosis will be able to sink someone into a hypnotic trance, possibly even without them realising it, and implant various subliminal suggestions. They can then seal their victim's mind and implant a timer that determines how long after the hypnosis has been triggered until the suggestions start becoming active.
The skill of Hypnosis is available to members of the Serpent class, along with Subterfuge and Venom.
Once a trance is secured, you may begin implanting hypnotic suggestions, and finally seal the victim's trance. Once this is complete, you may snap your victim to trigger their trance, and the hypnotic suggestions shall begin to fire in rapid succession.
You may also cleanse yourself, but in this instance you can only remove suggestions that would force you to carry out a physical action.
Note that you may only hold up to five imprints at any one time.
