Bleak is the endless hollow empire.
Useless the crown for He who rules but Himself.
How lonely to be without purpose; how sorrowful to be so singular.
Thus, did Ayar whisper into being existence,
His breath thick of hoarfrost and trepidation.
What sublime rapture, that first word of actuality!
Only He who gifted the magnificent divine
Could know such a noble bliss.
As lovers entwine themselves with one another 'til they are but one themselves,
Was Ayar His creation.
Planes of crimson demons, shallow pools of pearl and dragon,
Crystalline empires and eternal cobalt fire,
Endless strifes in silence, emerald Aldar beguiling truths,
Midnight sable sun, and weeping, gossamer moons.
What limits the imagination of He who is unimaginable?
Yet what choice can the omniscient make?
Simple and frightening is creation absolute: "Be",
And thus.
What fulfillment can such unrestraint bring?
What use the carpenter's chair if he cannot sit?
Thereby, did Ayar wrest Himself in twain:
He who brought light cast Himself a shade.
Here could He who knew but love arrant become resplendent in its frailty.
What irony that He of perfection grew bored of it,
While us pursue it tireless.
Thus, with all, Ayar did reveal His esteemed dominion.
Wonder.
