Perchance I chose a task to meld,

Two embers in my hand I held.

But weighty was Ashaxei's essence,

One two pounds, the other, twelve.

Sitting at Hashani Crossroads,

Many were amongst my presence,

'Til coruscating flames eroded

Everyone who stood attendance.

Death by fire, Rebirth by water,

Heavens quake, Immortals falter.

And still, Bal'met laughs.
