Those inflicted with disfigurement become so hideous that even their formerly loyal denizens turn against them. The only exception to this effect are Baalzadeens and Guardian Angels, who are beyond such things as physical appearance. Disfigurement is caused by the venom called monkshood, and may be cured by smoking valerian.
