Telltale grooves, of tracks and hooves, mark true its route through fair Cyrene.
Four horses yoked, still unprovoked, await their master's harsh routine.
He flicks the reins, they pull their chains, the coach begins its solemn duty.
To shuttle those, who proudly chose, to ride in style and rest their booty!

Onward ho! The carriage goes! Wherever people need to be!
Onward ho! The carriage goes! What a pleasant sight to see!

With clips and clops, to all the shops, it rumbles on down evr'y street.
No need to say, it knows the way, a smarter coach you'll seldom meet.
The fee is small, not much at all, to take a trip across the city.
So take a chance, with your finance, for this is why I wrote this ditty!

Onward ho! The carriage goes! Wherever people need to be!
Onward ho! The carriage goes! What a pleasant sight to see!

The driver's handy, with his brandy, to take a sip when you're not looking.
In his hat, thats where its at, a special homebrew he's been cooking.
He hides it well, you couldn't tell, the secret vice that keeps him merry.
Another day, to drink away, forever faced with folks to carry!

Onward ho! The carriage goes! Wherever people need to be!
Onward ho! The carriage goes! What a pleasant sight to see!

But don't you fret, 'cause as of yet, he's never crashed or even swerved.
There's some that say, his drinks' okay, the only thing that keeps him nerved.
So if you're lost, and come acrossed, the carriage I've portrayed today...
Don't be shy! Give it a try! I'm sure he sorely needs the pay!
