Chessboards are required to play the popular game, King's Chess. Beautifully crafted in a classic style, they are often made from two woods of varying hues, such as oak and black walnut. No matter what the specifications of a chessboard, however, all share the common trait of having individual pieces shaped with such amazing detail that the game is truly brought to life when played. Most chessboards can be found in public establishments, such as taprooms and libraries.

Winners of the Golden Pawn Tournament are awarded the Golden Pawn, an illustrious trophy that doubles as an elegant chessboard.
