Auction artefacts are those special, one-of-a-kind artefacts purchased at infrequent worldwide auctions. Participants bid against one another, with each subsequent bid required to be higher than the previous bid. For this reason, auctioned items typically are won at exhorbitant price, often reaching millions of gold or thousands of credits for a single, unique relic.
