Caspian was the name of a dreaded pirate of Ashtan who laid waste to peaceful seafaring vessels for years before finally settling into a more passive life as a trader of tea and kawhe. Even then, however, it is rumoured that he trafficked in the drug industry. His family manor, that of the Caspian family he founded, lends his name to the avenue in Ashtan that it sits upon: Caspian's Walk.
