Caer Witrin is a quiet, often snow-covered town of artisans high in the Southern Vashnars.

History

Caer Witrin was created by Lord Scarlatti and given as a gift to His affianced, Lady Selene. Shortly after the joyous opening of the town, Lady Selene fell ill, and it was discovered with Lady Mithraea's aide that loving One, even such as Lord Scarlatti, more than another was causing her travail. The engagement was then broken, but the town remains as a testament to the love of a God for a Goddess.

Places to go, people to see.

A crowded, cheerful toy store.

Run by an elderly toymaker, this quaint little shop sells delightful toys, games, and costumes to bring a smile to young and old alike.

Dejourdie Street music shop.

Owned and operated by Salieri, the musician, this is where one finds instruments a bard uses to perform.

A warm inn common room.

At this cozy inn, Percival, the innkeeper provides a range of refreshment for the cold and hungry traveller.

A furrier's on Domus Street.

Inga, the furrier provides a line of fur and skin clothing. She also sells snowshoes, most helpful for travel in the drifting snow of the mountains.

A brightly coloured flower shop.

An elderly florist sells a variety of flowers in this cheerful little shop. The unwary traveller may find an unpleasant surprise when he tries to eat the fragrant snow blossoms found here or about town.

A sparse woodcarver's workshop.

Travellers come from far and wide to purchase the carved vials of Toby, the woodcarver.

A tidy painter's studio.

Frida, a painter, paints original masterpieces on request, and Salai, Frida's apprentice, can copy any existing painting.

The Temple of Scarlatti.

The temple of Scarlatti, the Great Bard, God of the Arts, Lord of the Dance, was once located in the Southern Vashnar Mountains. When Caer Witrin was built, the temple was moved within the town.
