Cabalist's cowl

The cabalist's cowl is a rare, one-off artefact which was put up for auction and sold in 541 AF. Secretly enchanted with an incantation of unknown origin, legend has it this cowl and its owner were tossed upon a pyre during the Burning Times. Whilst the corpse of the occultist withered and charred, the cloak itself remain unharmed by the flames. Thought lost forever, the cowl was recovered and sold, granting its new owner a 50% reduction in karma cost for all occult abilities. It was won by Tanris.
