The Arcadian Athenaeum inhabits Briham Square on the highest tier of the Atavian city of Arcadia. This denizen library is beautiful but quite small, its tomes not available for adventurers to borrow. Nonetheless, King Iasius spends much of his time within the stained-glassed chambers of the library, usually engrossed with a book. Amae, the atavian teacher also roosts here, primly offering her language-learning services to paying customers. The librarian Isidore reigns over the library with an iron yardstick, quite ready to usher any noisy patrons out into the square should they cross her.
