A full cycle

My memories, both old and gray

Had hurried over granite hills,

Past youthful trees of Ithmian shade

And fledgling love which folly killed.

In scorn, I then sought to supplant

My lost faith with a new outlook,

Which men of prideful Good did grant

Their kind intentions I mistook.

It took me years to realise truth

Behind these walls of lifeless stone.

I traded in my foregone youth

For cheap faith and their fractured home.

Reconciliation began

After the Ventos Allegos

Battled Nature to meet an end,

Its powers harnessed to aid growth.

From the destruction came new life.

Two foundations, firm and strong,

In word and deed, actively strive

To champion Nature all life long.

Suffused with purpose overdue,

I seized the opportunity

To make my mark and thus pursue

The Scion way, on bended knee.
