The kuzu root is harvested from the perennial, maze-like vine plant of the same name. Unlike the colourful leaves of this herb, the root is brown with many tendrils and no particular smell. A jungle plant, it is used chiefly as an ingredient in concoctions - namely, the epidermal, caloric, mending, mass, and restoration salves, as well as the speed elixir.
