Worn whetstone

As long as the average hand, a worn whetstone is a promotional artefact which glistens with oil and has a worn centre from repeated passes of a weapon across its length. Sometimes it can be found in Logosmas stockings or globes. It nullifies the cost for learning a weapon proficiency.
